Here’s What’s On Tap: Halloween Edition!

There is a bevy of Halloween happenings across the South Jersey Beer Universe this weekend, so get your costumes ready and check out some of these great events!

Friday, October 27th

Three 3’s kicks off the weekend with a Triple Release Party with their good friends from the Outlaw Burger Barn Street Team! They’ll be releasing Evolution Three, their latest small batch NEIPA, a Coffee Porter featuring La Colombe coffee, plus the much-anticipated return of TOTALLY DRENCHED! Taps start flowing at 3, with food to follow at 5! The Outlaw’s will be cooking with Three 3’s own Sippy Cup American Pale Ale and Juicy Shenanigans IPA.

Cape May Brewing will be having their Halloween Bash tonight at the brewery from 5-9 pm. They will be tapping a wicked spooky firkin, specialty one-off brews, and hosting a mad haunted tour of HQ, costume contest!  Plus, word on the street is that the CMBC staff will be dressing up as Power Rangers or their favorite Wayne’s World costume!

Manafirkin Brewing Company will have A Firking Freaky Halloween Party tonight at the tasting room from 6-10 pm.  This Adults-Only Halloween party will have a costume contest, giveaways, and prizes!

Lunacy Brewing Company’s 3rd annual Halloween Party is tonight at the tasting room in Haddon Heights starting at 5 pm.  Great beer on tap plus if you wear a costume you just might win a prize!

Saturday, October 28th

Slack Tide Brewing Co will be having Slack-R-Treat at the tasting room starting at 4 pm for a night of Halloween fun including a costume & pumpkin carving contest, door prizes, Slacker Halloween t-shirts and a mystery beer release. This year they will also be partnering with Ludlam Island Brewery and providing a Jitney between the two breweries from 4-8 PM for double the Halloween fun!

Ludlam Island Brewery will also be having their Halloween Celebration with free jitney service to Slack Tide Brewing Co. from 4-8 pm.  Tricks and treats along with special beers will be on tap for a Double Your Fun Party!

Forgotten Boardwalk Brewing will be celebrating their anniversary at their 3 Year Extravaganza Costume Party along with the can release of the brand new  Come Quick Danger Imperial IPA.  Along with their awesome regular lineup, there is also a bunch of Halloween Candy inspired beer selections.  The list looks fun, check it out!

The Halloween Boo’ze ‘N Brew Festival happens today at the Lower Twp Moose Lodge in Cape May County today from 10-6 pm.  Tickets are$7 for Adults 21+ Includes Commemorative 16oz Cup, kids are free!  All of Cape May County’s Breweries and Distilleries will be represented, along with an offering of local wines.  Hand Rolled Cigars, food, and a Cornhole Tournament will also take place!  This inaugural event looks like a great time for all!  Be sure to visit www.cmcbrewtours.com on the web for more info!

Garden State Beer Company will be having their Halloween Costume Party tonight from 7-11 pm at the tasting room in Galloway. The Indelible Grove will be rocking out and TJ’s BBQ will be out back serving up their amazing food! Best Costume Prizes will be awarded!

7 Mile Brewery is partnering with Fox Chase Medical on a “Walk to Second Base”, a 5K walk to raise to promote breast cancer awareness.  The event starts at 9 am at the brewery, for more info, please visit www.7milebrew.com.

Glasstown Brewing Company will host their annual Halloween party tonight at the tasting room in Millville from 5-9 pm.  Have a few of their great beers and come in costume for a chance to win a prize!

Human Village Brewing Company is having their MV Halloween Spooktacular X tonight from 8-11 pm at the tasting room in Pitman. $10 Cover gets you live music from 3 great bands and great craft beer will be on tap.

Beer Belly Brew Tours is offering a great deal today on their Halloween Brewery Crawl that will shuttle you to 4 great breweries from 12-8 pm. They’ll provide transportation between Devil’s Creek, Eclipse, Double Nickel, and Flying Fish breweries for the measly price of $15 per person Check-in at @Devil’s Creek starting at noon! Pinelands Brewing Company will have a full day of Spooky Brews and family fun. They will be releasing Barrel Aged Imperial Chocolate Stout in bottles, limited quantities. This full-bodied beer has been aged in Jack Daniels barrels for the last 6 months and is ready to make its debut. Mama’s-gona-Rescue will be at the brewery hosting Pineland’s  first ever Pet Costume Contest. Extra points for couples costumes with Human and Pet. Prizes will be awarded for best costume (must be present to win). And the one and only Brother Bear will be out front slinging the BBQ.

Backward Flag Brewing Company will be having Halloween Shenanigans at the tasting room in Forked River from 2-9 pm. Join them for a fun day of beer, great food courtesy of Romano’s Disco Fries, LLC, acoustic jams by Trashboat Dickinson, classic horror movies on the projector, costume contest(for humans and dogs!!) and much more.

The Haunted Hops and Ghoulish Grub Fest is today at the Riverwinds Community Center in West Deptford from 11 am-6 pm. Enjoy a glass of brew in the beer garden from New Jersey craft breweries like Devil’s Creek, Death of the Fox, Lunacy, Eight & Sand, and many more. And with 20 food trucks serving up “cauldrons” of great grub, you’ll never go hungry. Plus there will be live entertainment, artisanal crafters and kids’ activities for even the littlest ghost. Don’t forget to come dressed for the occasion and enter our costume contest! Advance general admission is $5 or $7 cash at the gate for those 10 and up.
