Ludlam Island Brewery has been killing it lately! Lamplight took South Jersey by storm and they are ready to launch the follow-up, so Bill and the gang decided to do it in a very unique way, by releasing the beer on Thursday 4/20 at 4:20 at 7 great South Jersey Craft Beer Locations simultaneously! On board for the launch are Goodnight Irene’s in Wildwood, Passion Vines in Somers Point, Clayton Liquors in Clayton, The Mad Batter in Cape May, The Lobster Loft in Sea Isle City, The Surf Dog Bar & Grill in Woodbine, and The Iron Room in Atlantic City.
I spoke to Bill from Ludlam Island to see how the idea came together and he told us “I thought it would be cool to bring some great craft beer bars on board for the launch” and “all the participating bars are going to try and Facebook Live the first pour”. Bill went on to describe the beer, and it sounds fantastic. Bill gave me permission to let you know the name

Joe the brewer’s hopped up mess of a double IPA brewed with wheat and oats for that delectable mouthfeel. Pounded late in the boil plus a hefty dry hop of simcoe, mosaic, and citra lupulin powder provide layers upon layers of hop aroma and flavor. Hints of sticky dank greens give way to peach rings and fruit stripe gum, overripe tropical fruit juice, and transcendental bliss. Tomorrow, starting at 4:20pm
I assure you, this is going to be good. If you can’t be there at 4:20 you still need to get your hands on this so stop by the bar nearest to you and get dirty!
Ludlam Island Brewery is located in Ocean View, NJ. The taproom is open every day from 12pm-8pm and their beer can be found on tap in several South Jersey Bars and Restaurants.
