NESHAMINY CREEK BREWING CO. LAUNCHES EL EMENO LAGER WITH STARR RESTAURANTS
BEER EXCLUSIVELY AVAILABLE AT LMNO IN PHILADELPHIA
CROYDON, PA (OCTOBER 5, 2021) – Neshaminy Creek Brewing Company is thrilled to introduce El Emeno Lager, a new proprietary beer created with their friends at STARR Restaurants. This refreshing Mexican-Style Lager is available exclusively at LMNO where it pairs perfectly with the new restaurant’s Baja-inspired cuisine. As Philadelphia-area staples, the two companies have worked together for years but this marks the first true partnership between Neshaminy Creek and STARR.
El Emeno Lager is brewed with 2-Row and Munich malt, flaked maize, and hopped with Herkules and Hallertauer hops. The beer has a clean, grainy malt character, a subtle sweetness with a crisp, dry finish, and a touch of German hops. While the brewers at Neshaminy Creek have a great reverence for brewing traditions and classic lager styles, they’re not opposed to squeezing a lime into this one. El Emeno will be an optional Cerveza used as part of LMNO’s signature Michelada menu, which come in creative, bold varieties made with ingredients like green habaneros, shrimp and cucumber, or spicy peach rings.
The beer’s name is a play on STARR’s latest venture, LMNO, which recently opened in the Fishtown neighborhood of Philadelphia. Located at 1749 N. Front Street, LMNO is a dynamic Baja-inspired Mexican restaurant…that’s also a music venue…that’s also an art gallery…that’s also a bookstore. It’s a vibrant space that matches Neshaminy Creek’s interests and sensibilities.
“Everyone at the brewery has been anxiously awaiting the opening of LMNO so it’s great to see the doors open and beers flowing,” says Kyle Park, Director of Sales and Marketing at Neshaminy Creek Brewing Co. “We were excited to team up with STARR from the ground up on this collaboration and made sure the beer was ready for their grand opening. It’s a good day at the office when I get to figure out what beer would pair best with tacos!”
El Emeno Lager is currently available exclusively at LMNO in cans and on draft; a laid back beer for a laid back dining experience.
