It seems like just yesterday that Eight & Sand was opening their doors and now this GABF Award-Winning Brewery is celebrating their 3-year anniversary. We have had the privilege of partnering with E&S on events and have even stolen Kristen Wilson, Tasting Room Manager, to write for us and appear as a co-host on our podcast. The Chris’, Mazzone and Burke, have put together a great staff, a beautiful tasting room, and make great beer. They have been an active participant in the local community supporting many events and local businesses and are some of the nicest people you will ever meet. Congrats to everyone at Eight & Sand on this milestone!
Cheers to Three Years of Craft Beer with Eight & Sand Beer Co. in Woodbury NJ
Award-winning craft brewery is celebrating their 3-year anniversary in their Woodbury tasting room on Saturday, Sept. 21st
WOODBURY, NJ – On Saturday, September 21st, Eight & Sand Beer Co. will celebrate their third anniversary with a special event for craft beer fans at their brewery and tasting room on N. Evergreen Avenue in Woodbury from 12pm – 10pm. More than twenty styles of beer and exclusive, limited edition Eight & Sand merchandise will be available during the one-day celebration.
Eight & Sand will again release a double-dry hopped version of their flagship “IPA No. 2” in 16-oz cans. Barrel-aged favorites will be making a comeback on tap, with limited quantities of 22-oz bomber bottles. Eight & Sand will release new barrel-aged beers on tap throughout the day and introduce some small batch, experimental recipes from co-owner and head brewer, Chris Burke.
The past three years has provided consistent, positive growth for this 10-barrel brew house. Two 30-barrel fermenters were added to accommodate increased demand and wider distribution. With the addition of Philadelphia distribution, Chris Burke is awaiting the delivery of even more tanks to upgrade the existing 10-barrel fermenters to 20-barrels.
In addition to the tank upgrades, Eight & Sand renovated part of their backyard space to include an all-weather covered “Caboose”, fully equipped with lights, fans, heaters, and speakers. “We’re all thrilled to receive a ton of positive feedback from customers – whether they are new to us or have been around these three years,” says co-owner Chris Mazzone. “As important and flourishing as our distribution is, we never want those who visit our tasting room to feel overlooked. The choice to renovate the backyard was a no-brainer.Ensuring that our tasting room space is comfortable and welcoming is just as important!”
