Mike LaCouture, Co-Owner of Broken Goblet Brewing of Bristol, Pa to the podcast. Broken Goblet has caused quite a stir the last month with their Fly Eagles Fly-Pa and are getting ready to double down on that theme with the 3/10 draft and 32 oz Crowler release of “No One Likes Us, We Don’t Care”, an unfiltered IPA. In addition, 20% of all the sales (including merchandise) will be donated to the Make the World Better Foundation. The foundation is a non-profit organization founded in 2013 by former Eagle Connor Barwin. According to the website the “MTWB works to build civic engagement through a community-led public space redevelopment process, engaging many partners along the way. The organization envisions a fully engaged city where members of all neighborhoods have access to high-quality public spaces”. Joining the party will be Food Trucks and music by Calla Bere & The Attitude from 2-4 PM outside the brewery. Live music will continue inside during the evening hours.
Mike is a terrific guest! He tells us the early metal origins of the brewery and how it has grown over the years, their rabid fanbase, and why tea is great in beer. Be sure to listen to find out details on their new location and what is in store for Broken Goblet in the future!
Thanks so much to Mike for stopping by the Towey Studio to tell us their story!
