This is the official last weekend of Summer and there a quite a few big events happening to end the season with a bang. As we prepare to head into the fall, here are a few of those events to cap off what has been a great Summer for beer here in South Jersey.
Harvest Brew Fest at the Emlen Physick Estate, Cape May
Enjoy craft beers and celebrate South Jersey during this all-day festival that celebrates all things local! Enjoy local food vendors, local artisans, local craft beers and local musical talent including The Capers, Loud N Klear, Heavee Levee, and the Love Me Dudes. Taps flow beginning at 10 am. Admission to the grounds is free and free parking is available. Cape May Brewing Co, Slack Tide Brewing Co, Ludlam Island Brewery, Tuckahoe Brewing Co, and 7 Mile Brewery (who will have 6 different beers on tap!). Jersey Draft & Craft – BEER FEST at iPlay America, Freehold
30+ Breweries & Distilleries and Jersey made Cheese, Chocolate, Beef Jerky and Jersey Made Crafts are all in the spotlight for this event that is put on by The Garden State Craft Brewers Guild. The event runs from 12-4 pm and is $40 per person. Ticket price includes Admission, souvenir cup, (15) drink tickets for 4oz pours of beer, (4) drink tickets for .5 oz pours of spirits. Food and snacks are not included in the ticket price but multiple vendors will be serving samples, Chocolate, Cheese, Pretzels etc. For more information follow the links below:

Eight & Sand Beer Co. First Anniversary Celebration, Woodbury
Eight & Sand will be tapping limited small batches of beer throughout the day, along with the return of a fan favorite or two. Il Fuoco Dentro will be serving up some delicious eats after 5. Also, you don’t want to miss gift card and merch giveaways every hour, leading up to a raffle for a NEW stainless steel growler and very special top-secret contest at 6 PM. Backward Flag Brewing Co. 2nd Anniversary Party, Forked River
Backward Flag Brewing Company will be celebrating their 2nd Anniversary from 2-10 pm at the brewery. There will be special casks on tap as well as music, and a food vendor outside the licensed premises. Also, Backward Flag will be presenting certificates and checks to the charity organizations they raised money for. Congrats to everyone at Backward Flag on this milestone!
